"I have an Army..."

The Avengers. Oh. My. God.
I’m honestly still processing. The movie was, simply put, absolutely stunning. There aren’t many films in which I can say I like each and every character, but this is a rare and fine exception. Many had seen it before me, on the actual day of release, and I had to tolerate thousands of comments, tweets, texts and blogs on how “the movie was fantastic” and “all the characters had a moment to shine”. Now that I’ve seen it, I can say: the movie was fantastic, and all the characters had a moment to shine.

Gotta start with the villain. And what a villain he is. Amazingly calm and collected in the worst scenarios, he finds death funny and Thor disgusting. He has some epic lines, and gets thrown about a lot. Loki is the kinda villain that knows what he wants, but not the means to acquiring it.
But I really love him, and I am always going to be Team Loki. It’s amazing to see how he has developed from the unconfident, changeling-esque awkward penguin that was Loki in the Thor movie :P He’s cunning and mischievous (suits his title as the God of Mischief), and manipulative enough to have others do the dirty work for him. Having said that, he has face-offs with every Avenger, and he fights them brilliantly.

Best Non-Spoiler Moment: “I am a GOD, you dull creature! and I WILL NOT BE BULLIED BY-- “ *gets beaten up by the Hulk* …. *lies there with a ‘what the hell just happened to me’ expression on his face*

Gotta then move on to my favourite Avenger, and my favourite actor (though by the end of the film, it was very, VERY difficult to decide on the former title). Stark has the best one-liners, the best outfit, and the best moves. Not intending to spoil the movie, but he really does shine at the end, giving his character a bit more depth, and fully ensuring that if you didn’t love him before, you most definitely will after this film.
Plus he drives the sexiest cars, is a “genius, playboy, philanthropist”, and speaks fluent sarcasm. What more could you want ;)

Best Non-Spoiler Moment: oh wow… how to choose one… “Phil? His first name’s Agent.” XD

Also known as my hardcore Legolas ;) I love this guy. His weapon of choice is a bow and arrow… which, by the way, comes in a flat-pack style that he just shakes into form- it’s very cool.
And my God, is he amazing with his bow and arrows. I especially love the scenes where he doesn’t even need to LOOK at his target, and yet still he manages to shoot with extreme precision. I’d love to see an independent film regarding this character alone, because he really is epic, and he definitely deserves one!

Best Non-Spoiler Moment: his breathtaking stunts. That’s it really, the slow-mo, the arrows, the extreme situations… he gets such awesome stunts. I was ‘wow-ing’ through the whole film haha :D

I saw his movie the other day. I thought it was enjoyable :) the ending of that film was particularly poignant, especially as he’s unintentionally left his world behind. However, he really lives up to his title in The Avengers; he’s the guy giving the orders, he’s the man behind the plan, and… and his shield is the most epic weapon created.
I also love how he is so dazed by his new surroundings and situations, and also how he doesn’t get along with Stark at ALL. Yet they make a fantastic fighting team, and a team that I would love to see collaborate more in the future :)

Best Non-Spoiler Moment: his bet with Nick Fury made me laugh :D such an epic scene, and it took me a moment to understand what was happening when he lost the bet ;)
